Once again, the performance of Fildas-Catena was confirmed and rewarded – with two trophies granted to the management of the Group. This way, Mrs. Alina Marinescu, General Manager of Catena, and Mr. Dragos Mihai, General Manager of Fildas Trading, were included in the TOP 100 Most Admired CEOs in Romania – 2022 edition, made by the publication Business Magazin.
According to the makers of the top, the project was made “with the aim of showing that success in business depends above all on impact and inspiration, on the people who run businesses in Romania, and on the way, they can positively influence other young entrepreneurs and managers at the beginning of their careers”.
Mrs. Alina Marinescu, General Manager of Catena, holds the current position since 1999, year in which the Catena brand and pharmacy chain were launched, being today a leader on the Romanian market. Mrs. Alina Marinescu has previously held the position of Executive Manager within Farmaceutica Argesfarm, company she joined in 1996, from which the Catena network was created. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy within UMF “Carol Davila” in Bucharest and has attended a series of other courses and MBAs, in management, marketing and leadership.
Mr. Dragos Mihai, General Manager of Fildas Trading, holds the current position since 2008, joining the company in 2000, as manager of the Arges Branch. He is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Craiova, specialization in general medicine, and between 1998 and 2000, he was a University Lecturer within the University of Pitești.
Top 100 Most Admired CEOs in Romania – 2022 was made based on 6.000 votes. According to Business Magazin, “each edition of the catalogue represents a collection of role models worth following – in business and beyond”.
